I am very thorough in my feedback.
I usually do a quick preliminary read-through, marking any typos, spelling errors, etc.
Before my second read-through, I like to have a discussion with the author about his/her concerns so I can keep an eye out for any special issues.
I like to use Google docs so that I can share feedback in real-time as I work my way through the manuscript. Sometimes I ask for plot or character clarifications, etc.
After the second read-through, I give my feedback which may include several discussions with the author. Some beta readers limit the number of reader/author discussions but I am happy to do as many as needed.
If the author then wants to do some rewriting, I will do a third read-through and again give feedback.
I will give suggestions when appropriate. I do not fact-check unless something seems glaringly incorrect.

CHARGES
Beta reading and copy editing services are US$1.25 per 1,000 words, with a $25 minimum.
FOR RUSH DELIVERY:
For a manuscript of fewer than 50k words, charges would increase by US$15.
For manuscript of more than 50k words, charges would increase by US$25.
I accept Word .doc or .docx format or Google docs.
If you would like to try my services before committing your whole manuscript, you can submit the first 10,000 words for $15.
I take two to three weeks to complete a 50k word manuscript. Many times I will be faster than that but please let me know beforehand about any time restraints and I will do my best to accommodate you. A rush charge may be applicable.
